In this article, I’m only going to talk about the best 1000W PSUs available in the market and if you having some confusions about PSUs, then, from basics to advanced I’ve written all sort of knowledge about the PSUs and here the link which you can follow, in case if you need any help or tip » » How To Buy Perfect Power Supply Unit (PSU) For Desktop Computer? If you are planning to have a PC with 2 Way SLI configuration, then, believe me, 1000W PSU is more than enough for you. This beast can run 2 GPUs in SLI with all the necessary components, and not just that even you can add all the extra stuff too. Many Modern Computer Cases are coming with the extraordinary features like fancy Multi-Color LED Lighting System and they look really fascinating, but the thing is, they require more power than the ordinary computer cases just to light up the cabinet. If you are buying a 1000W PSU then I think you do thinking about to buy a Modern Cabinet or maybe you already bought it, but don’t worry, just like I said, you can run anything. Any Liquid Coolant, CP Coolant, Multi Storage Devices like M.2 SSD, SATA SSD, SATA HDD, any USB 2.0 and even 3.0 Device, any High-End CPU, any Motherboard, any PCI-E Card, any Optical Drive can be power up sufficiently with the 1000 Watt PSU. Apart from this configuration, any GPU in SLI can run flawlessly, because recently, I tested all of them on my own; All the latest and as well as upcoming GPUs of 2018 will run perfectly with the 1000W power supply! But if you think about to go for 3 way SLI, then sorry to say but the 1000W PSU is not sufficient for you. Here’s My Experience Of 2 Way And 3 Way SLI On 1000W Power Supply: I have tested all the consumer’s Hard-Core GPUs like GTX 1080, TITAN X, TITAN X Pascal and GTX 980 TI and five different more. First I’ve tested all of them on 2 Way SLI configuration, the results were more than I expected. All the heavy games were running very smoothly. Then I come to the 3 Way SLI configuration, then again all these graphics cards were tested. The results were really disappointing. None of the high performer Graphics Card run properly, even the old one GTX 980 TI was not running properly. The game would start, but at certain points when the game demands performance and to perform all the hardware’s demands more power, but the PSU was unable to deliver it and causing unexpected shutdowns and once I also even encounter a BSOD error on the screen. It all happen because the 3 way SLI demand 3 times more power and the 1000 Watt PSU wasn’t able to provide it; 1000W PSU is mainly for 2 way SLI Systems and not for 3, but in case if you wanted to run graphics card on your computer, then I would recommend you to use minimum 1200W PSU for all your computer’s power need, and that will work for you.
