Actually, it is so fast, in fact, now your latest windows don’t even have any time to let interrupt anything. So, when you start your Windows 10 or 8, you’ll find your OS won’t let you to take some time to press some keystroke like F8 or something. So, in Windows 10, when you press the power button you’ll able to see your bios boot screen at first and then suddenly your windows starts to load its files for OS startup. If you’re using an old computer with latest windows in it, then it’s possible by pressing the Shift and F8 key on your system’s startup can pause the boot process and take you to the “Advanced Option” but if you’re using a latest computer with a latest UEFI bios or maybe using SSD drive, then there’s no way you can interrupt your computer’s booting process by using any keyboard’s key. Actually Microsoft did this because they wanted to speed up their windows startup process and limit the time to minimum, but the best part is you can still enable back this boot option by just using your windows command prompt and disable it back again when you’ve done with your work what you’ve wanna to do in your safe mode. Just like I said, you need CMD to type the command in and the one thing which I want you to make clear is, you only have to open your cmd as an administrator or otherwise the command won’t work and shows you access denied error. So, now you’ll need to right-click on your Windows 10 Start Menu and select Command Prompt (Admin) to open it as an administrator. After that, a pop-up will show in front of you and now you’ll have to click on YES to open your OS’s Cmd.
After that, you will see your CMD starts in administrator mode and now you’ll need to type the command listed below: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu yes
Once you have done this commanding thing, you’ll need to restart your computer just like normal and when its start boot, just keep pressing F8 key again and again during the startup process and after that your Windows 10 will show you some startup setting options and in between those options you have three selection to choose to open your safe made as you can see in the picture given below.
When you’ve done with your work in the safe mode and wanted to make your PC back to boot normal, then you’ll need to reopen your cmd as an administrator mode and type the command what I’ve listed down below. bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu no
